๐ง๐จ๐๐ข๐, ๐๐๐ก๐๐ข ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ง๐ (๐ ๐ช๐ก๐ฎ 3) โ To strengthen the fishing communities in the province, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Northern Mindanao (BFAR-10), through its Provincial Fisheries Office in Lanao del Norte (PFO-LDN), took part in the celebration of LDNโs Peopleโs Day activity, at the Mindanao Civic Center Gymnasium in Lower Sagadagan, this town.

The activity is in celebration of the 65th Araw ng Lanao, with the theme: โPagtambayong Lig-onon, Kalambuan Ipadayunโ which aims to enhance the communityโs engagement through the delivery of the government’s essential services directly to the communities.
Emphasizing the importance of such events, Provincial Cooperative Officer Minda V. Regis said that the event was conducted through the initiative of the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of LDN designed to bridge the gap between the government and its stakeholders.
โPeopleโs Day is more than just an event; it is a testament to our commitment to serve our people better. By bringing the government closer to the community, we ensure that no one is left behind in our pursuit of progress and development,โ Regis stated.

The initiative reflects the province’s thrust to foster inclusive development and improve the quality of life for all its constituents through consolidated efforts between government agencies, she added.
BFAR-10, under the leadership of Regional Director Edward B. Yasay, offered services and information dissemination, particularly in technical assistance on aquaculture, post-harvest and marketing, access to credit, distribution of information education and communication (IEC) materials on fishery laws, and other BFAR technologies and services.
Such engagement demonstrates BFAR-10’s commitment to providing local fisherfolks with knowledge and resources to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the long-term development of the province’s local fisheries and aquatic resources. (๐ฅ๐๐ ๐//๐๐๐๐ฅ-๐ญ๐ฌ)
