In line with the goals of the Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project, the Fisheries Management Area 9 Coordinating Unit (FCU-10), through its Grant Proposal Review Committee (GPRC), conducted an in-depth evaluation of MINFARMCO’s ₱49M proposal titled “Mariculture Production with Processing Facility and Marketing.”

The review, under MARLIN Subcomponent 2.2, emphasized a participatory approach, engaging both LGU and cooperative representatives in discussing the technical and financial aspects of the project. This collaborative model not only promotes transparency and accountability but also strengthens grassroots involvement and ownership of local fisheries development initiatives.

Through FishCoRe, FCU-10 continues to support community-led projects that enhance livelihoods, build institutional capacity, and promote environmental stewardship.
