The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region-10 (BFAR-10’s) Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) program phase 2, holds training on Bangus Post Harvest Processing for the Linamon Farmers and Fisherfolks Agriculture Cooperative today, July 10, in Linamon, Lanao del Norte.

The training was mostly attended by women, involving the coop’s members and non-members in a hands-on activity on Bangus Deboning and Bottling.

Said activity aims to capacitate local fisherfolk on value-adding products to generate additional income and also minimize post harvest losses.

BFAR-10 SAAD is set to conduct another training on Tilapia post-harvest processing tomorrow for the Linindingan Tilapia Grower Farmers Association in Poona Piagapo, LDN.
